4.1's First music lesson of the year

The clarinets were delivered to 4.1 the other day. We all got our own clarinet given to us, we learnt how to connect the top part of the clarinet as well as practicing how to make a sound!
Some of 4.1 were fantastic at this and made some lovely sounds.

Well done 4.1!

Science Projects

Some of the pupils in 4.1 worked extremely hard over the half term break to create a Science project. The pupils investigated different topics such as space, sound, magnets and life cycles. Mrs Chahal will now look at the projects and will choose one winner from KS2. (I'm glad that I won't have to make that difficult decision as the projects are spectacular) The winning project will then be entered into the King Edwards science fair competition.

Hamza researched magnets.

Elvine learned about the planets and the solar system.

Courtney's cool model of the planets.

Jessica told us about the life cycle of a frog.

Corey told us some interesting facts about breakfast.

Vincent demonstrated how to use a microscope.

Kacper told us a little about evolution.

Lucy researched sound.
Gurpal's groovy presentation about the planets.
Joshua produced an informative presentation about space.

I would like to say thank you to these pupils for the effort and time that they put into their projects.

Lunt Fort Visit

Wow! What an exciting trip! We went back in time 2000 years ago and learned about the Roman Invasion in Britain.

We now know more about what Britain was like before the invasion and the beliefs of the Celtic people who were living in Britain.
